They give a generous amount of grilled meat and when their egg rolls are fried & fresh then it's an easy & super filling 10/10 lazy, affordable dinner for me. I like to add chopped Thai chilies or more rooster sauce when I get home because the meat marinade & fish sauce are typically sweet! It is typical OG Vietnamese service and so don't come here with any high expectations but all in all, a great takeout place when you're feeling super hungry! ”

“ Was craving soup on a cold Friday night. Specifically BBH and remembered hearing Viet Ha having tasty BBH from the foodies around Sac. I haven't been there in ages since highschool years ago. Last I been there I had other items and remember food was good. We showed up a little past 7 and they closed by 8pm but the doors were locked. There were two other parties dinning in, one in which I was able to see have not ordered yet. So unsure of why it was locked. As we turn to walk away a worker opened it up and told us to come in and that they're still open. Could be for safety late night reasons being the area. We sat down and got our orders in quickly as we knew what we wanted. Server was quick to tend to us, and the food came out pretty fast as well. Food was hot and fresh. I lovvvved my BBH! Broth was hearty and packed with tons of flavors. No complaints but it was a little different from other BBH I've had before. No pork bone chunks or meat patty. There was blood. I would come back just for this soup. My sister got a vermicelli dish and that bowl was loaded! Packed to the brim! Came with a spring wrapped eggroll rather than a regular eggroll. The nuoc mam sauce was delicious not too sweet or fishy. She liked how they used the smaller noodles for this dish. Place has updated a bit it's bright and welcoming. It's a small little restaurant but it feels spacious inside. I was surprised how cheap the pieces were compared all the other South Sac Vietnamese restaurants. ”

My go-to is the pork chop over rice as it's thin, juicy, and delicious comes with a generous portion size. This time, I also tried #22: charbroiled shrimp, egg rolls, and pork over rice. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. It's a classic "hole in the wall" spot.... it looks run-down and might seem a little dirty (and it is), but don't let appearances fool you. The food is consistently solid, portions are satisfying, and they even have solid Chinese dishes. If you're in the mood for affordable and tasty Vietnamese food, this place is solid and worth a visit. ”
